  1. John what an excellent way to translate theory into practice for your students. demonstrations like these are so useful and engaging for students. Do you have the opportunity to do this kind of teaching often with this group?

  2. What a very clean engine. They learnt some important lessons through this observation. What do you think the most important lesson was that the students learnt?

  3. if you mean the whole lesson, I think that what they learned most from, and perhaps benefit the most is when people from industry and government agencies come in to school and asking students for help. It gives students a tremendous self-confidence and we teachers can exploit this for years through the photographs we have taken and used as a reflection of other projects

    1. John, I agree. The way in which you record these events is very useful . They can be used with other classes and they would find them very engaging.I like the idea of improving student self confidence. In any other circumstances the students would probably never meet people who fly helicopters. I also think that the fact that the students were asked to help on a real task was wonderful. Did you find that they were all engaged with the job they had to do?

  4. Students have shown a huge commitment to this task and it is very easy to get all students to participate without any nagging
