We start allready at first class with the most basic knowledge. I talk about how to do it and show them. Soo the students learn by looking and trying. But is also important to encouraging them cause its not easy at first.
Yes we have very similar teaching methods in our classes here in Australia. Demonstration is always a good strategy and then the students can ask questions as you go through the process.Encouragement is also important when we are learning something new. i am trying to re learn to ride a bike and encouragement is very welcome.Do you break the learning task up into smaller'chunks' so it is easier to learn?
