  1. he is doing a very neat job. How do you teach them to have these skills? What teaching strategies do you use? In Australia a lot of students who study painting are also apprentices and they learn a lot on the job. When they are in school they do quite a lot of theory.

  2. Yes, it´s the same here. They have a master at a firm and he take care of the apprentices and learn him the job. In school is it a lot of theory, just like yours.

  3. That is interesting Kennet. Does the school have much communication with the masters? This is sometimes a problem in Australia

    1. Hi,Ros
Just as I say, the master teach/learn the apprentice nearly everything. I visit them or call master nearly around a 10 days period, to check how it´s going out there on the firm, with the student.

  4. Kennet we do the same in Australia. A teacher from the Vocational College or school will ring the workplaces and see if the student is progressing well. Th teacher will also visit the workplace and sometimes give suggestions for improvement. Mostly this works well but sometimes there are disagreements. Do you find this sometimes?

  5. Hallo Ros
Yes that´s happend somtimes, and thene it does so must i decied if the student must leave the firm or perhaps do somthing else or stay on another firm. It can be a lot of job for me if the apprentice and the entrepreneur not agree whit each other.

  6. Kennet i agree and the same thing happens here. The teacher can spend a lot of time trying to sort out the problems and making sure that the student is learning. What is the most common cause of the dsiagreements between the students and the entrepreneur?

  7. I think it is how they fits in and come along with the other worker´s and how they come along with costumers and so on. Perhaps one and other is lazy and don´t come on time. Some have the phone and play instaed of working.
