Yes, it´s a perfect way to learn. I have learned by this way myself. "Learning by doing" it´s called I think. There is 1-4 persons how is in charge for the student when he is out working. Sometimes there is only one person who check a student and his job/ learning.
I agree Kennet that 'learning by doing' is an excellent way to learn. For us the question in Australia is: how good are the supervisors in the workplace? Sometimes this is a problem.

ReplyDeleteYes, they are out almost half of the schooltime during 3 years of study. 2 week at shool and 2 week at a workplace.

ReplyDeleteIt´s the same here, i have interrupt a few workplaces there the students only toke care of the "dirty" job, and not learn a thing.
